How do I contact the Office?

Our website has comprehensive information related to our services and method of access to those services. Office of the University Registrar (“OUR”) adheres to high standards to safeguard student records governed under applicable privacy laws, including the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (“FERPA”) (also known as “the Buckley Amendment”).  FERPA is a federal law that protects the privacy of, and access to, student education records. Students, family-members or third-party can contact the Office using our secure method.

Current Students, Former Students, and Alumni

To safeguard the privacy and security of your student records, the Office of the University Registrar requires all students to verify their identity in order to access student record services. Temple University’s TUportal account access satisfies the requirements for an electronic signature and serves as the preferred method for identity verification. By signing into TUportal, you will have authenticated your identity which allows our staff fulfill your service request while ensuring your privacy. 

Prior to contacting us, we recommend you review the contents on our website or search for the specific service request.

Your inquiry will be reviewed in the order received. To contact the Office of the University Registrar:

  1. Using your TUportal login, sign into the Contact Us app to submit your inquiry.
  2. Complete the required information.
  3. Click the Submit button.
  4. You will receive a confirmation upon submission.

Reach us by phone at 215-204-1131. A case number is required if your inquiry is in reference to an ongoing service case. Student record specific inquiries will be handled electronically.

 

Parents, Guardians, or Family Members

Temple University Employees

Temple University employees, including faculty, can contact the Office of the University Registrar in TUportal.

  1. Login to TUportal.
  2. Navigate to the Home Tab.
  3. Scroll down to the TUhelp channel in the center column.
  4. Click Submit a Ticket.
  5. Select Registrar from the request type drop down menu.
  6. Complete the form and click submit.

We do not accept documents from students or family members by mail for fulfilling a service request unless arrangements were in advance. Unsolicited documents will be discarded.
