Who is considered a third-party agent?
A third-party agent could be an employer, loan service agent, scholarship provider (outside of Temple University) or any person who is not the student, affiliated with the student, or a Temple University employee. Parents or family-members are not considered third-party agents since they are affiliated with the student. Third-party agents conduct independent enrollment or degree verifications or submit documents for completion for information beyond current term enrollment status or degree(s) awarded.
What is an eVerification?
Students can request a current term enrollment verification or a degree verification to be sent to you directly from the Office of the University Registrar. The eVerification letter shows the student's recent enrollment dates, time status, degree information, and anticipated graduation date. The letter will be delivered as a digital document to you by email. You should not accept any eVerification by email that is not directly from the Office of the University Registrar. Optionally, you may contact the National Student Clearinghouse for an enrollment or a degree verification. Enrollment is reported to the National Student Clearinghouse monthly per schedule below.
